No shit. really?

Maybe you missed the OP:

I have a rental car so I can drive out of the city.

Anyone have any suggestions of somewhere I could take her that she might like that she's may have never been to?

Go to a nice bar.
Essex House on Central Park South has a great one.
I've gone there on dates many a time.

Thanks for your tips guys! I ended up taking her to a yakiniku place called yakiniku riki. It was a bit on the expensive side which surprised me because I thought the meat would be cheaper here in the US but it was still good.

Nope. The first night I got there I stayed in Howard Johnson in Jamacia. The rest of the nights I stayed at her lace in rego park. It was a great trip and I'm glad I met her, I wouldn't have experienced New York on my own.

Interesting thing, that. I've lived outside the city for about half my life, and been to the Met many times. Then just a couple months ago I went with my friend, who has lived in Manhattan and Queens his entire life, and he had never been there before. The Met is awesome.

It's NYC, it's going to be pricier.
