Looks like I have bad sectors on my hard drive. It points to possibly corrupted files. Or, maybe the drive is bad.
Before I do anything to the drive, like format and reinstall, I want to have a new drive handy just in case the okd one goes down. I am now running win98 se. I like it, but I am a little behind the times on the software.
Not sure if I want to keep 98se, or use win2000 or, go to xp. Any suggestions?
Also,,, I am looking for sites to buy a hard drive and the o's.
What I am looking for are sites that will "Discount" the o/s when you buy a hard drive there.
Any suggestions???

Newegg will sell you OEM versions of M$ OS'es if you buy hardware. Seeing as how Newegg is one of the best (if not the best) places to buy hardware I think this is your ticket.


Edit: oops, I forgot. Go with WinXP Pro. It blows 98 out of the water.
