besides amazon, are there any other specialty online stores where I can buy polarized sunglasses?

I am looking to a pair of non-aviator ray-bans. I really hate amazon's search. Are there any other stores that make browsing thru the different styles easier?

I would just do the following.
* Go to a B&M sunglasses store.
* Find the sunglasses you want and note the model down.
* Go online and search for said sunglasses.

Sunglass Hut or the manufacturer's website.

I really like Ray Ban's site, actually. Maui Jim's isn't bad.

I effing hate Oakley's.

Why?

Edit: Oh, the website you mean? Yea.

Decent place to get oakley sunglasses for semi-cheap: www.oakleyvault.com
It's usually full of last year's models or sunglasses made from random parts to create non standard frame/lense combos. These are the MPH sunglasses, where MPH stands for mister potato head... seriously.

No, I meant their website - too flashy.

The glasses themselves, I bought a pair and returned it. I made the mistake of getting a non-polarized pair, and compared them against my 2 pairs of $300+ Maui Jims. It's the fit that killed me though: flat face.

Yea, I wouldn't ever buy a pair of sunglasses without trying them on first. My latest pair of oakleys were a pair of Titanium Square Whiskers (Polarized), tried them out at a Sunglass hut and they wanted something like $250 for it. Got my pair from oakley vault for $150 😎.

Try Solstice Sunglasses - its a higher end sunglasses chain store out here in California - pretty decent UI.

I'd also have a look at Zappos - huge selection.

I had to get the Asian Fit from the official Oakley store, which local stores didn't stock. Service was great both ways though.

All their other pairs are built for white people with big noses.

Never ever buy sunglasses online unless you've tried them in a store first. Otherwise, most likely you'll be disappointed.

That said, once you find your shades get them at a legit store like SunglassHut.com, Macys.com, Nordstrom.com. Ebay will be sketchy and could be lining yourself to a huge FAIL with a fake (which can do damage to your eyes)

i guess it's too late for online orders. leaving for vacation in a week and I cant find my old sunglasses. will check out sunglass hut tomorrow
