My heatsink fan blew out the other day. Luckily no damage to the cpu, it pays to have good cooling. Anyway, I got a new Delta the other day (online) but it is larger than my other fan and the old screws won't work (too short). I went to a few hardware stores looking for screws but they all told me that they don't carry anything that fine so I should try somewhere else. So, with no luck, I am asking you guys. Would I be able to buy screws for my fan and heatsink from Radio Shack or something? Or maybe somewhere else? Try and lend a hand if you can.

i actually thought about paper clips. A friend recommended it, but he doesn't really know anything about computers so I was skeptical and didn't try it. Thanks for the response though, i guess paper clips work fine. I'll try it out I guess. Thanks.

i say try another hardware store.. i had no trouble finding screws for my chipset heatsink fan awhile ago at my local ace hardware. the customer service their is alot better than my local home depot/lowes.
