I am having a hard time finding websites that sell Laptop computer parts individually?
Can a person buy their own laptop motherboard? Or this usually not practical due to "space concerns" within the slim and confined notebook chassis?
I would also love to find websites that reviewed "power consumption" of various notebook components. (Especially graphics cards since this maybe be unnecessary overhead in a lot of casual and work applications)
Can someone recommend a decent barebones chassis that includes high value components?
I am not looking for the cheapest chassis but rather one where all components are balanced in the "sweetspot" of price vs performance? (For example at the moment 1920x1200 LCD monitors while not exactly cheap definitely seem to be in the "sweet spot" of the desktop world)
