Buying parts seperatly is the cheapest way to go.
Go on ebay and look up heatcores and buy one for a car / plane / whatever, get it, attach barbs. - $20 - 25 with barbs
Buy a big pump (Enheim, Rio, etc) - $40- $50
Buy a good waterblock - $45
Tubing, clamps, misc - $10
Tupperware to make a resivor - $5

Total: $120, with better cooling then any of the premade ones.

Or see what you can pick up the in the forums, people usually have good deals on waterblocks and the like.

lol... itll make sense sooner or later. there's guides on overclockers.com... i was looking for kits just like you... but then when i finally had a gameplan... i had to do a little modification to my case... plus $100 of equipment... too much hassle for me so im stuck with aircooling for now.:D

if your trying to cool your thunderbird at 1600
try these for parts

Dangerden Ehiem pump 1048 or 1250

Supercube by dangerden or
Aquacoil cooling cube

or go with

car heater core bought local or one on Dtek that has barb fittings

for water blocks

Maze 2 spiral.........
or
Spiral by Dtek.........expect long delay on this one

thats about the best your going to do ..........i put together a setup for myself and i think it cost me 150 dollars
