where to buy good socks

Wherever you do find them, I'm sure they'll have a blouse for you to match. 😉

I kid, I kid. Columbia makes some of the thickest socks I've ever worn, though I wouldn't recommend them in warmer seasons/regions.

Assuming you're looking for white socks, I would recommend going to Gordmans (Or equivalent) and just purchase some name brand socks at discounted prices.

They do cost a bit more, and will last a bit longer, but they all get dirty the same. This is why I purchase cheap no show socks from Wal-Mart and replace them accordingly.

As AStar recommends, so do I. You may end up not liking the thicker socks some brands offer, as they feel like more of a shoe than a sock, and don't ventilate as well.

My advice: Just buy cheap socks and replace them often.

if you are worried about sweaty feet, why not switch to flip flops or Birkenstock sandals? (in the warmer months at least).

also, wouldn't thick socks make your feet sweat more, not less? I prefer light, thin socks made of cotton with a bit of a synthetic thread like nylon for stretchyness.

also, leather shoes let your feet 'breathe' better than sneakers.

At the same place you bought the shoes.
It seems like shoe stores usually have better quality socks than general stores.

If you want nice dress socks I'd recommend the mall or any place that sells suits.
Last time I visited Mens Wearhouse they had lots of overpriced foot coverings.
I'm normally satisfied with K-mart dress socks.

I always wear gold toe socks. They are very comfy and I'm on my feet all day so I need something with a little more cushion. I'd recommend these socks, just make sure you get the cotton socks and not the acrylic ones (?)
