That's a pretty bad deal actually. I used to get them at the local grocery store for under $2 per 16 whites. So after shipping that's about twice as much.

It might not be a big deal if you eat them sparingly, but I used to consume about a thousand egg whites a month.

How long has it been? They are $4 or more for a carton of 16 egg whites everywhere around here i.e. Publix, SuperTarget, Sprawl-Mart. That is for the Papetti All Whites, the other brand is more.

About two months, but a week or so ago they were still selling for $1.98 per carton.

This is in Canada by the way - and food prices are usually higher up here.
