Where to buy boxes to ship computer components?

I know this sounds like a n00b question but I have to RMA a 28" monitor because it flaked out on me, but I don't have the original box anymore. I went to fedex but they told me they didn't carry shipping materials that large. They suggested I go to Best Buy to get a box but they don't carry 28" monitors anymore so I'm not sure they'd have a box laying around for it.

Does anybody else have any suggestions on where to look? Office Depot maybe?

Yes check office supply stores. Then check out stores that offer boxs and packing material for moving.

Thank you for the response! I will check out Office Depot, and see if I can find a moving type store around here.

You can also take it to a UPS Store and have them pack it. You are off the hook then.

Maybe a large TV box or a server box, or a box for a large printer. 28"" is pretty big. An old style 30" tube tv would probably come in a similar box. What might also come in a similar box is a Lawn mower that folds up.

I think with fedex that the availability of packing materials might depend on whether you go to an actual "FedEx Office Print & Ship Center" or just a franchised "FedEx Authorized Ship Center".

For best results I would try a "FedEx World Service Center".
