Where to buy besides newegg?

A friend of mine is building a new pc.

He wants to get a retail boxed Athlon 2200xp or higher.

Unfortunaly NewEgg doesnt have any at the moment.

Where a good place to order one from that is as fast & reliable as NewEgg?

We dont wanna order from one of those sites who's 2day shipping is 2days after it takes them a week to fill the order.

mwave i ordered stuff from there and newegg at the same time and both of the packages came the same day...

just checked the prices and newegg says $175.00, and mwave says $157.94

Another vote for MWave. As long as you place the order before 1 or 2 Pacific time and there are no problems with the address on the credit card matching the shipping address, it'll ship the same day.

TCWO doesn't have the retail 2200's, btw.

Oops, looks like Mwave doesn't have the 2200 retail either, only OEM.

I have yet to see a Retail boxed Athlon 1800mhz cpu... So, I'm not sure if ANYONE will have them in stock.

EDIT: CBWnet.com has this on their site... "The retail 2200+ has not yet been released. They are expected to arrive in late August or early September."

Make sure you checout Resellers Ratings for whom ever you decide to go with, plus it is a good place to find new resellers.

I like Outpost for the shipping. Order by midnight and it's delivered the next day. Prices are a little higher, but shipping is usually cheaper.

AMD supposed to release it sometime a couple weeks ago but they delayed it.

I like Mwave a lot. They are one of the more reliable companies out there. The shipping prices are usually pretty reasonable too. Check out ResellerRatings (As someone mentioned) for an idea of what to expect from a company.
