Where to buy AYHJA 1.33 or 1.4?

Is there a reputable place on the web to order 1.33GHz or 1.4GHz Athlons? I was on athlonoc.com and they had a link to OCZ (Overclockerz Store) and unless they are NOT the same as The Overclockers Store listed on Reseller Ratings, they seem to be a place to probably avoid. Any recommendations?
Thanks,

I got my 1.4GHz from NewEgg, and it was an AYHJA "Y" chip. Seems like lots of people are having good luck getting AYHJA 1.33's and 1.4's from there

aamsel...newegg normally has them...i should've just sold u my AYHJA cuz this girl that i just built the system for doesn't even OC. So it wouldn't have mattered if we swapped and u just paid for the shipping. But newegg.com usually has them. 4 out the 5 chips i bought from them are AYHJA and only one AXIA K.

I should have stated in the original post, I ALREADY got one from NEWEGG, and it was NOT an AYHJA (got it yesterday). It was an AXIA C (I think it is a C). The numbers were:
A1333AMS3C
AXIA0122UPBW
Y6432550118
SO I AM LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN NEWEGG!! When I called them to complain that it was not the latest revision, they told me that they do not guarantee the latest revision.

Compuwiz looks like a good place! My only reservation with ordering from somewhere that specializes in overclocked CPU's is - do they test each CPU they get and pick out all the best ones? Probably just being silly, don't know?

well you never know...you might get an AYHJA this time around...like i said earlier...it's just luck of the draw...most ppl do get AYHJA...1.4's are pretty much guaranteed AYHJA but 1.33's a lil lesser chance. Compuwiz is a trusted guy in the forums...but newegg's prices are a lot cheaper. But compuwiz you'll get a solid chip that's guaranteed @ a certain speed...that's been tested...and he gives out quality chips. The only reason i didn't get it from him was because of the price...i was on a budget and i really wanted the swiftech mc-462a. So, you can either go a "fo sho" guaranteed way or you could gamble and pay a lil less. Your choice. Good luck.

I went to the compuwiz site, and it didn't say anything about "pretested" for the Athlons. It just said 1.33 AYHJA code, nothing about speed. Pretested is what I would want to avoid, anyway. If they are pretested, the very best ones are going to be pulled for other uses, without doubt (my opinion only). Are there any other sites out there that are reputable, that will quote you the rev. you are going to get?
Thanks,
Andrew

I got my "AMD 1.4 AYHJA-Y" chip from PCDIRECTSOURCE--seems that's all they have in stock---call & talk to Howard to check! Paid a little more but I got the exact chip I wanted, shipped same day, good service, & I got the chip next day UPS [I'm in the same zone]---I'm not affiliated in any way with them---just answering your question!

I am also looking for a reputable dealer for an AYHJA 1.33. I found Advanced Design you can buy a guarnteed AYHJA 1.33, they also have good reseller ratings. I think I will get mine there unless there is reason to get it somewhere else.

aamsel,

I recently had the opportunity to have a long conversation with Compuwiz. I have no reservations about doing business with him. I sincerely believe he will take good care of you. Just let him know what you want.

Avoid OCZ or Overclockerz at all cost. The same folks run AthlonOC and other Sites and put out biased reviews of their own products.

I don't know that I consider a 5.4 as a good Reseller Rating! Over 6 or closer to it would be more comforting!

aamsel, just for the record, when you buy a nontested CPU, it will have never seen a CPU socket on a motherboard, while in our posession. There are no rejects with Tbirds, just less speed than desired in some cases, so ones that are tested and do not make a specific goal, are just sold as what they will do.

Anyway, let me repeat...every CPU we sell from the non overclocked department, is pulled from a NEW tray, not tested. Hope this helps. :)

Thanks! Now that I look at your site carefully, I DO see just that! Hats off to any merchant, such as you, that takes the time and effort to respond to posts such as mine!!
I will order with confidence.
Thanks,
Andrew

I can vouch for Steve being a great vendor. I bought a chip from him just before he opened his business and would not hesitate to order from him anytime.

I purchased a 1.4 AYHJA from Microbarn.com, it works great..I can get over 1.7ghz stable. I hear all 1.4 chips are AYHJA though.
