Where to buy acrylic?

I've been thinking of putting a window on the top of my case and so I'm trying to find out where to get the materials, which is just the acrylic. I've read that Home Depot sells it, and I suppose Lowe's might, I live near both. So has anyone had any experiance with buying it from them, and possibly having them cut it to size? any suggestions?

Update: I went to Lowe's hardware and they cut me 2 windows out of a sheet, 6.50 for it all, and I have a huge scap piece I can do stuff with 🙂

If you live in Silicon Valley, TAP Plastics will probably do what you want, depending on how much you need.

I did find usplastic.com but I'm sure about their quality, or how well it would ship, etc. Anyone dealt with them?

glass stores usually stock sheets of acrylic and plexi glass. they will be able to cut you a chunk for a decient price.

get a rheostat for your fans, i don't think windows do much to muffle noise at all.
