Where to buy A4 sized paper?

neit

Senior member
Off and on I get documents that are sized in A4, and I just resize and print them on regular letter sized paper. I'd like to get a ream or two of A4 so I can see/feel the document as sender intends.

Problem is I haven't found any locally and the stuff I've found on amazon is priced a bit high and not sold by amazon itself (ie, no free shipping on over $25).

Appreciate all suggestions.

Here in South Africa we have only A4 and the other A sizes, I dont thinks i've ever even seen Letter sized paper, even though its what all the damn printer drivers default too... :|

i wish US wud switch to Std sizes ... architect here and it messes up all CAD plots if working intl ... and knowing architects/ construction ppl, we will be the last profession to switch ...

I guess it was silly of me to skip the regular office supply stores' websites, but I guess it was because I couldn't find any at their B&M locations. Thanks for the heads up but happy to hear from anyone with it cheaper.

Sunbird: Heh, thats the problem with international standards that the US doesn't accept, causes all sorts of headaches and mars missing probes.

You're an architect and use the quasi-word "wud"? Interesting.

I too with we'd all get on the same page for units of measure - and I don't particularly care which page - metric or standard, just so everyone would use the same thing.

Why doesn't the rest of the world change to be the same as us?

After a bunch of searching and a call to a sister store, it seems that Xpedx carries 20lb A4 sized paper. I got a couple reams ordered today and I'll be able to pick them up tomorrow, and they were only $5/ream 🙂

I know, we did invent the internet and basically the entire engineering industry.
