Where to buy a airsoft gun??

Sad to say, it's hard to get anything "decent" for under $275 or so. Last year I bought a "UTG MP5" rifle for about $100. The first one failed after 20 shots. The replacement worked great for a few hundred rounds, then every third BB or so started dropping like a rock, while the remaining two grouped just fine. Since I was planning to upgrade it anyway, I just tore into the gearbox. I still haven't gotten around to fixing it, but I was planning to regrease and reshim the gears, upgrade the spring, port the piston head, upgrade the internal wiring, and buy a better battery. The Well R6 that was linked to is sourced by the same manufacturer as this MP5 I bought, as is http://airsoftatlanta.com/aeg.htm (third from the top).

Last I checked, these were the only "decent" budget AEGs on the market, and they were very much a crapshoot. They're regarded for their potential for upgrading and mods, but in stock form your odds of getting a lemon are pretty high, whether it takes 100 or 5,000 shots for that to become apparent. Still, the Well R6, Cyma CYM028, and UTG MP5 are the only electric guns I can recommend in that price range. You'll get a much better spring rifle or gas-blowback pistol for that money.
