where the hell did an ez-search bar come from in IE

ever since i went win2k pro i've been seeing weird stuff. this just happened today. i opened up IE and theres this search bar and all sorts of other junk and every time i open a new window this junk keeps coming back......how do i get rid of this uselss waste of valuable ATOT surfing space
