Where the heck do I put the YS fan's variable switch???

I need a good place to put the YS-Tech fan's variable controller knob in my Lian Li PC65. Where?

I don't want to cut any holes in my case either. Anyone found a good place?

Like I said I don't want to cut/drill into this case.

Could you explain how you mounted it choco?

you don't have to cut the case itself. just make a small hole in the plastic cover of a bay.

here's what i did

i just put the variable switch in the 3.5" bay above my floppy. i have since painted the switch black to match a little better, but that's besides the point.

Take one of your PCI covers in the back of the case and drill a hole in it, then the knob is in the back where all your cables plug in. I did this on mine, because I rarely adjust the speed anyways. It works pretty nicely, and PCI covers are pretty easy to come by.

Oh, like that theNeo. My slot covers are metal on the Lian Li. I might try that choco if I can figure it out.

I've done both front and rear mounts.

Here's my front mount, put into a 5¼" drive bay cover with a Thermaltake fan switch (to control CPU blower) and a thermometer:
FRONT

Here's my rear mount, put in a spare PCI slot cover:
REAR
