Where the Heck do all the Radeon 9700 Pro Come From on Ebay

Its really mind boggling to see how many Built By ATI retail boxed Radeon 9700 Pro are being sold on Ebay, many for 300.00, when you cant find it anywhere near that on Price Watch, and ATI is selling it for 399.00 plus shipping on thier site.

How the heck are so many being avaliable for sale and for so much less than ATI sells them for. Is ATI giving out bunches of freebies? Or do these have no warranty or what? Heck I cant get one on the FS forum for that price.

yeah - they probably off the truck. you call ati regarding warranty info and the mounty will probably be at your home w/a search warrant

Did he mean that lots of companys buy the chip and make their own cards, thats what i belive this is, unless they are the retail ATI boxed ones?
