Yet in a very intense graphics game like Nascar Racing 4, both ran about the same 38fps with high details, D3D.
Tried another basic 32bit 3d game, Links 2001, and both performed and looked about the same.
Have seen the same thing here. (no significant fps gain when comparing GF3 and GF4 4400) I was dissappointed at first, but
after a little poking around (articles and the like....) I found that NR4 is one of the most CPU intensive games out right now. To
satisfy myself, I messed around with processor speeds and did see a corresponding fps change in the game.... This led me to believe
that NR4 is CPU limited on my setup.... not Video limited as I would have guessed.
HOWEVER, I did notice that I could up the antialiasing with the 4400 and get significant gains in picture quality without any significant
fps loss (still talking about NR4 here). So there is a gain with the 4400 over the GF3.
(yeah, I know none of this is groundbreaking news.... just thought it was interesting)
