Unless you are good at a foreign language, maybe aim for somewhere that speaks English, or where most people learn/know English.
Scotland may not be too bad, houses are relatively cheap compared to the rest of the UK I believe, and there are possibly more job opportunities, or nothern England in general.

Australia....
pretty much only other country that I could see myself moving to...
hot blondes and they love American men.. and that accent! yeehaw!

You realize they don't let foreigners just walk in and get a job, right?
If you wanna go, start getting some skills in a really obscure area that they don't have covered...

bye bye...

I feel bad posting this on the 4th but technically its the 5th. Anyways, I am not a fan of this country, and I want to get away. Recommendations?

What about this country bothers you? and more importantly did you vote?

People who hate this country really have no idea what it is like to live in another country. I lived in Germany for almost a year for work, and I have also been to China, France, UK, Denmark, & Mexico (oh yeah, Canada).

Most of Europe is run by labor unions that are crippling the economy. 12% unemployment, and those people that do work pay such high taxes, that their standard of living is severly corroded. The standard of health care is second rate, and they still live with "tribal " mentalities. You can see this by what's going on in the EU right now.

You don't know how good you have it in the US. Seriously. Just the fact that you can openly say you hate this country, shows that you have more freedom than half the world already.

Ah, yes... well, if you're independently wealthy, few nations will have a problem letting you stay. Do tell us how you got the money in the first place though?
