Avoid retail/fastfood. Too stressful and low pay. Office jobs FTW.

Be careful which type of office jobs though. The one I'm doing now for money has me contemplating suicide daily. If they had a half-competent programmer set up a batch entry system, I'd have no job.

That's true.

Also lot of people often say how they'd love to be a Manager... It's a tough job. I'm not one, but I see maybe 5% of the stuff managers have to deal with every day.

So yeah, really depends what type of office job. No job is perfect, there's just some that may be better then others, and that varies from person to person.

find a cool local store/cafe/restaurant. stay FAR away from all the shitty big chains like mcdonalds, circuit city, best buy, applebees, etc. they ALL suck and everyone you work with will be a complete loser. the difference with a local business is that the people who run it actually care about it and have half a brain, plus the people who come in to those places are a lot better to deal with compared with the average slobs who go to a place like tgi fridays or best buy.

I'd like the comfort of a good air-conditioned office job, but at the same time i need some exercise... maybe i could get a job as a stocker at a retail store or something... would that be a good idea?

Honestly you should get a clue before entering the workforce.

Seriously, you can't figure this stuff out on your own? You really have to ask ATOT what jobs match you best? Pitiful.
