where should i go next week?

I'm on jetblue's all you can fly pass and trying to figure out where i should go this coming week. I'm in NYC right now but i leave for phoenix monday. I'll be there til wednesday at which point i have the rest of wed, thurs, and fri to explore wherever else jetblue flies.

I'm thinking of possibly:

New Orleans
Denver
Seattle
Austin/Houston
Ft Lauderdale
Pittsburgh
Cancun/Bahamas/Puerto Rico/Jamaica/Dominican Republic (~$100 in fees)

I've been to Ft Lauderdale (Miami, really), and stopped in Austin, but other than that never been to those cities. I have 3 days to kill. Anyone have recommendations?

Cities i'm avoiding:

-California (i live there)
-Chicago/Costa Rica/NYC/Boston/Colombia/DC/Vegas (already going there)
-Podunk cities in the middle of nowhere
 
I used to live within a couple hours of Pittsburgh and visited friends there frequently. I'm at a loss as to why anybody would choose to go there for vacation.
 
new orleans, my bro went recently and had a blast. eat some food, have some drinks, lose all your money in the casino. should be good times.
 
Depends on what you enjoy really. What do you like to do when you travel? Do you like to see things, or prefer to do new activities? Are you a vacation eater? (In which case, I'd probably try N.O. too, excellent food I hear)
 
I'm in scottsdale right now. Just hanging out with a girl i met here. It's freakin blazing hot here.

I decided to hit the dominican republic for 3 days before i head back to LA. Then hopefully it's costa rica, chicago, vegas, and colombia. Should be fun.

I was thinking about N/O but a girl im seeing in CA wants to go with me later this year so i'll probably go then. I did DC, NYC, Sacramento, and now Phoenix, so time to hit the Caribbean!

Anyone have any travel tips for costa rica or colombia? Besides the customary (bring back some coke for me/dont get robbed/dont catch AIDS), i mean.
 
We're having great weather in Seattle right now but not sure how much longer it will last. This is just about when it starts to go downhill.

Yep, went for a walk in short sleeves tonight, was great. 🙂 If you come to Seattle we should all go get a drink somewhere.

Yeah none of my friends could afford to take an entire month off either, but i was like screw it, i'm gonna do it myself then.

In some ways it sucks but in others its really cool. There's a lot more freedom traveling by yourself.
 
Yea, I was planning on going to the Caribbean every weekend for 4 weeks in a row. I had a buddy that was interested...but its hard to find people with the time and money. Especially since there are extra fees going int'l.
