Where should I go for breakfast?

I don't have any milk or OJ in the house, and I want to go out for breakfast (not fast food though). Where should I go? I was thinking Dennys.

Go to a locally owned mom & pop diner. Much better food, and much better service than Denny's. Denny's will kill you faster than McD's.

Go to a diner. I've got a few local faves for breakfast, all better than Denny's.

I've never been to IHOP. I didn't even know we had one up here until I happened drove around to the south side of the mega-mall a few months ago, and bam, there it was. I wouldn't mind trying it, but I wouldn't drive all the way out there for that reason alone.

He's in Michigan. There isn't an awful waffle house within 600 miles of him.

Heh, no I did it...but I'm planning on going grocery shopping today too! :)

Actually I decided to have breakfast with what I've got here at home (eggs, onion, ketchup, and some brownie on the side). But thanks for suggestions.

Yes! Denny's! Go and get yourself a Meat Lover's Skillet or a Breakfast Dagwood or... so many tasty choices...

IHOP is the best. I wish there was one here. :(

Ditto

I?ve been hearing a rumor for a while that one will be built here.

I suspect whoever is building it is waiting for Wal-Mart to commit to a site on the west side.

If you do go to a Waffle House, remember to bring cash. They are still stuck in the dark ages, and do not accept anything but cash.

I go to a local pancake house called Hannovers here. Its only open for breakfast and lunch.

Yes.

They were going to build one on the old Mather's Gun Club property (by the I72 and IL 4 interchange), but they ran into enviromental problems (lead: Who could have guessed?). Now they are trying for some property by the Wabash Rd exit.

The existing store will close when the new one opens. I suspect that the IHOP would be on a outlot of the Supercenter property.

Cool!

Hey, I keep seeing this place called Sgt Pepper's on Wabash and it's always slammed. Is it really good?

You know, I have never actually been in there.

Which reminds me, we should grab lunch again sometime.

Let's try that Sgt Pepper's place. Sound like a plan?
