Ok I did the buy.com deal too. Where should I get my abit kt7 motherboard from? Also is the stock heatsink and fan on the Duron ok for overclocking to 90mhz. If not I need one of those too. Should I get the alpha or the globalwin fop?

Well, since no one else is responding....

I bought my retail non-raid board from Microbarn, since it was one of the few low-cost Pricewatch listings w/ decent resellerratings.com ratings. The items came in fine condition and the charges were correct.

I had a few problems getting everything running, but in the end I have a Duron 600 running at 950 @ 1.75V on the Microbarn board. I bought a Fop-38 and Arctic Silver, and they keep the chip at 40C. The GW hsf is loud tho, so if you can get an Alpha I'd get that since I heard they're quieter and cool just as well if not better. I would've gotten an Alpha but I couldn't wait for them to get back in stock.

Good luck. :)

They shipped with decent speed...I forget what method they used but it took about three days and they're down in NC (I think) while I'm up in DE. I bought the heatsink/fan from Millisec...paid quite a bit there tho, so I'd recommend shopping around elsewhere. I was just impatient and needed the hsf fast.
