Where should I eat today?

I ended up going to Burger King. I asked for no ice with my soda, no ketchup, no pickles, and no mayo, but they refused to discount my meal any further! I got charged the same price as if I got those items. How much should I sue them for?

You consider BK "products" organically raised meat madoka? 😕

I've been living out of hotels lately because of work so I've been eating lot of fast food. While I enjoy fast food, I'm sick of eating Wendy's, Chick-fil-a, Zaxby's, etc. I can't wait to go back home on weekends and eat proper home cooked meals. My wife is telling me to go eat proper meals at sit down restaurants but I really don't want to dine alone at some sit down place.

Go to places that have a bar and eat at the bar. Even if it's so-called bar food it's usually a major step up from fast food. And many very good restaurants will have patrons eating alone at the bar.

Don't you fill your own soda cup at those places? WTF? 😵

EDIT: Oh wait, of course you went through the drive-thru. Gotta show off your fancy pants McLaren to the BK peons.

I know. But after long stressful and tiring day at work, I just want to eat quick and relax in the hotel room. Fast food is cheap and quick. But eating fast food twice a day gets old quick. I did it when I was younger but now I'm older, it sucks.

Depending on where you are traveling, you may have some better options. Be on the lookout for places like food trucks and gastro pubs. Also, don't discount takeout places. Most cities in the US, even small cities, have at least 1 taco or chinese place. Many are crap, but, still most are a step up from fast food.

I can only imagine the looks you get parking the McLaren in a Burger King parking lot.

I kinda want a picture the next time you take it through the drive through 🙂

I was not interested in going back to Burger King again, but I was willing to go to McDonald's (my precious, precious coupons were expiring there). I took this pic for you tonight:

The girl who handed over the food did not snap the lid on my sundae, so I got a little bit of melted goo on my car.

I have to say that no one ever cared what car I drove whenever I went to any of these places. Not once.

I should also mention that the GTR got more compliments than the McLaren. 100% of the time it was someone with a penis, but at least most of them knew what it was.

Don't limit yourself to paper coupons - Use the app for McDonalds, etc.
(That is, if you have a modern cellular phone.)

One of the single biggest costs in fast food is labor. You just requested 4 special tasks, each of which requires changes from their well-oiled processes. Thus, you should be lucky that they didn't charge you more for the extra labor time it took to ensure that you got your custom drink and food-resembling-substances. The penny that you saved them in ice and condiments is nothing compared to the extra labor that you cost them (let alone extra food costs if someone screwed up any of your special requests and had to toss the food and remake).

I've found that a lot of sit down places will sell you take-out even if they don't outright advertise it. Just call, ask and order it.
