Where should my wife and I eat in or near Tahoe City? Quick! I got like ten minutes to come up with a place! Save me ATOT! Save me from my poor planning!
 
As you drive towards King's Beach, there will be a steakhouse (I'm pretty sure it's the Old Range Steakhouse at 7081 N Lake Blvd, Kings Beach, CA) on the left hand side of the road just outside of King's Beach. Call for reservation or you won't get a table.
 
Not sure what you are looking for. But I like the beer and garlic fries at The Bridgetender.
Too cold to eat outside and it's too dark. But Lakeside is cool for pizza.
Blue Agave for Mexican.
