Where Online is a Good Company to Custom Configure a System?

I would like some suggestions as to online companies where I can custom configure a new system. I have built systems before for friends by piecemeal ordering of quality parts but don't want the hassle anymore. I am trying to help some friends get good systems and keep them from getting "skinned" at BB and other local places. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I would say Dell or Gateway in my own opinion,I own a Gateway laptop and I am very happy with it,I have also herd that Dell's are very good and have good tech support, But it might not be a bad idea to go to a local mom and pop shop,they might be able to give you a better choise for a custom configured system.....good luck

I second the vote for Multiwave (MWave). I have made the vast majority of my computer purchases from them over the years and have never had any problems. Every time that I have returned something to them, it has been fine. I've referred several other people to them and they've never had problems either. Their prices are very competitive. They have a decent rating over at Reseller Ratings.Com

Mwave is excelent and MicronPc seems good too. I would pick these two over gateway or dell any day.
