It seems like when you're using WinME, you need to be lucky. From what I've seen, you've about 40% chance that ME will be stable on your PC. More than 20-30% of all WinME installations will be unstable, some of them even worse than Win98.

I've the impression that for running WinME you'll need at least 196 MB RAM. While I ran Win2k for some time with 64 MB RAM (Same PC) without problems, WinME gave me even 'low on resources' screens when I just booted up the system and tried to start Windows Explorer...

Which Windows are you referring to? The "consumer"-targeted Windows or "business"-targeted Windows? Or the Server versions?

Which one is who referring to? Those divisions are just that - marketed segments. We aren't market segments. Win2k pro is the only version of Windows I could actually use and get some decent work done...
