where is this file located?

I ran my virus app. and it said that I had a file located in here: and I can't get it to quarentine it

c:\system volume information \restore{5c63abc1-a453-4dee-803

I have searched the C: and Windows folder bit it is MIA 🙂

It is located in a system restore file.....


Diable system restore, then renable, then reboot and do a scan.If that doesn't work disable restroe, reboot, scan, then renable system restore.
 
just delete all of your restore points. if it shows up in a scan, what's the point of using a system restore point that's VIRUS infected?

 
Start Menu - Program - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Clean UP - let it run through and when it's done - MORE OPTIONS tab - bottom will Clean Up Restore Points.
