I get a lot of lag in League of Legends while someone streams video. Where is the likely bottleneck? The wifi/router or the cable connection? 😛
 
Video streaming frequently will try to use all of the available bandwidth on the connection in order to provide the best picture quality. You might be able to improve performance in your game by enabling QoS (Quality of Service) on your router and giving priority to packets from the game. This should have little to no effect on the video streaming but will help ensure that communication from your game is not delayed or interrupted.
