on the nvidia driver page for win9x, they ahve the 12.41 driver and stereo driver extension. on win2k driver page there's only the driver itslef. im confused. can anyone explain?

may i ask why? win2k is my primary OS. so its not supposed to be a gaming OS, but nvidia should know they have to make it possible to run everything on win2k because lots of people do run games on it (only because thats what they have or because they like it more than win9x)!!!
i'm mad!now you're gonna tell me there wont be stereo support for linux too! 😉

Asking for stereo drivers for Win2k is like asking for maxtreme drivers for Windows 98. It doesn't bug me cause I got dual boot. 😉

so what? I have quad boot (2k/me/98se/rh71) and i still want stereo in 2k! its a SOHO OS, whih can be used for games, and i beleive there is no problem implementing the thing in NT.
using win9x for CAD (or anything else a Quadro is good for) is stupid, but playing CS/UT in win2k is smth people (not only hardware enthusiasts) do because not all have multiboot and not all want to reboot their mahine just to play a quick deathmatch.
i think nvidia should have implemented stereo.
i sure hope that asus's 12.41 based drivers will have stereo in win2k too!
