Dept of labor must be smoking a lot of crack these daysOriginally posted by: rodan
What computer-related field will the jobs be from now through the next few years? I went to the Dept. of Labor and read that Systems Analyst, Computer Programmers, and Data Administration would be, but, what else might be in demand?
If I had to pick a hot job in the IT/IS world in the next 5 years, I would put all my money on Info Security. I don't need to say why, because it's already painfully obvious. If you want to have a priceless skill-set, charge after info/systems security.Originally posted by: rodan

Those jobs are still in demand within the field.
You need the correct specialized experience within each group.

I hear that there are plenty of jobs there, and if you work your way up to Project Manager you might be able to make $10K a year.
