Where is the cheapest place I can get generic USB cables at?

NewEgg has $1.99 cables and of course $4.99 shipping. There has to be a place I can save a few bucks. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I've seen em @ Micro Center (B&M) for as low as $1 ...shipping usually kills the deal on Cables via the Web.

Yeah, to make it worth it you you have to order multiple cables from a place that doesn't have a borked shipping policy like newegg.

I bought mine some time ago from pcimicro. They have free shipping on their USB cables, so it comes up to a pretty reasonable price.

$1 for 2.0 compatible cables or just the old 1.1? That seems awfully cheap for Micro Center. =D

svc.com. But where, you need to oder some other stuff to make shipping reasonable, like an HSF or PSU or case.

For light weight orders many venders will ship USPS uninsured. You just have to ask if they will via email or in the shipping FAQ section of their site.

Not that they have what you need but allelectronics, action-electronice,jab-tech and sidewinder have all shipped USPS uninsured to me when i asked. IDNR what the weight limit is but it's not much gear.

PCH Cables.com...Try these guys if your on the West Coast. BGMicro.com might be worth a look if your on the East Coast.

Remember, you have to ask for USPS uninsured. If it gets lost or stolen your out a couple bucks.

Hi-Speed compatible.

You so right WobbleWobble!

But the OP shows no profile and may live in Stickville or Tullies Town 😀

Big Lots here in SoCal is selling many lower mid-end comp pieces, including cables.
