Where is the bottleneck

System is in the sig.

I have found my ram overclock to be 225mhz FSB.

I have found my cpu overclock to be 2500mhz.

To run ram at 1:1, the cpu runs at 2025.

With a divider of 133 (166 will not work with 2gb), I can get ram at 171, and cpu at 2500.

At 2500, CS Source video test (all options high, 4x AA, 8x AF 1280x1024) runs at 108 fps.

At 2025, same settings, runs at 108fps.

So is the video card the bottleneck? It would seem at this resolution, it is.

BTW, video card is OC at 425/1150.

Thank you for the helpful reply. Hmm, I have a 500 watt PSU, x connect. Of course, some nice 1:1 ram would rock indeed. Of course finding decent priced 4400 ram is not easy. :)

I think I may wait for tax refund season and get a 4800 x2 and some 4400 ram, that should clear up some roadblocks.

In the end, I have no idea what it is I am shooting for, since all games to play fast, smooth and beautiful.

Ultra is only one step above the generic psu's. I've had two fail for me, so I switched to enermax.

Your giving it to much credit:) It is 0 steps above a generic PSU, in fact some generics are better
