I am excited for new episodes. What is going to happen? Are they going to try to live on "Earth" Who is the final Cylon?

So many questions. Who else is psyched?
 
fucking new house doesnt get SCIFI HD!!!
seems i can never watch BSG in HD. In my older house, comcast didnt add SCIFI HD until after BSG season ended. Moved to new house and Comcast here doesnt have SCIFI HD yet (along with bunch of other channels). But internet speed here is much faster, so atleast that makes up for some of it
 
I'm looking forward to seeing how they end the series, but they drew it out far too long.

I was 100% into it from S1-S3, but S4 I have slowly begun to lose interest. It's been too damn long.
 
I am sorry you don't get to watch BSG in HD. If it makes you feel better, I have never been able to either.
 
I just want it to end. Not really excited. It's just that I've seen it from the beginning, and just want to see it through now that there's an expiry date.

It's like the friend you've been with for so long and have been through so much with, but deep down, you hate them. You just don't have the heart to let go so quickly.
 
We just got SciFi HD about a day or two ago. Was worried it wouldn't come in time.

However. 10pm on a Friday night? Was BSG always like that? Terrible, TERRIBLE time-slot.
I just watched all of the 3 and a half seasons over this summer, so never saw it on tv.
Is there a time when it repeats, like sometime Saturday or Sunday afternoon? I need to see this show but no way am I going to be home most Friday nights.

That was an awesome slot for it... SciFi Fridays... SG1 at 8, SGA at 9, BSG at 10.

I'm torrenting it of course, so I'll grab the 720p DD5.1 version 🙂

well for the people who absolutely drool over sci-fi, then it could be considered a great timeslot. Speaking in terms of stereotypes, the people that timeslot is catering to are the ones that don't go out Friday nights.
 
I expect a disastrously written ending (especially considering the exec producer chose who the Five would be randomly at the end of season three), but I'll still be watching every episode with a high interest level.

The bright side: Edward Olmos (Admiral Adama) says we should expect a "bloodbath" and that not many characters are going to survive to the bitter end. I'm guessing that's code for "my character is going to bite it." I love watching major characters die on TV. 😛

It'd have helped make season 4 better, but you're right - it's not really a big deal. I'm not a big Anders or Tory fan, but Tigh and Tyrol were great to watch as they tried to come to terms with what they are.

More importantly to me it means that there's no overarching storyline they've got planned. Let's hope that they came up with something good even if it was basically written on the spot.

Edit: My pick for the 5th is Admiral Adama, or Lee, or his dead brother. Leoben said in season one that "Adama is a Cylon". I expect that to come true!

Yeah. The Tyrol and Tigh parts were really good. The Tory/Baltar thing was kind of interesting, although it could have been any female.

The writing for the most part has been excellent though. I blame scifi for the 3rd and 4th seasons being what they are because they wouldn't commit to BSG.

Watch it actually be Starbuck anyway. Like they pulled some reverse psychology or something.

I fear it's going to suck, but I know I'll watch it anyway.
