i'm pretty sure that's it! Thanks!

anyone have a reason I shouldnt use it versus latest openbsd?

IPF is the package filter used in OpenBSD <=2.9, while 3.0 and forward use PF.

Made the jump from 2.9 to 3.0 for my own firewall just two weeks ago, and I hafta say, PF is the way to go.

OK I get it...the reason I was interested in that modified version was becasue of hearing that it's ip filters were easier to setup (and it had a free ISO)

PF's config is almost the same as IPF's. PF is advancing faster than IPF at this point. Ill be switching to PF as soon as I get my 3.1 cds.

The ftp install is pretty good, you dont need isos. You can make your own isos if you, for some reason, do *need* isos.

EDIT: Remember that ISO is an unofficial ISO, no clue what all DR changed...
