I installed win98 on C disk and win2000 on D disk. The reboot for multisystem works fine. But I could not find the boot.ini file which is said to be under C:\. I want to reset the default waiting for selection time from 30 sec to 10 sec. But I just could not find this file(by using search function in win2000). Where and how could I find it? Is this the only way to modify the default waiting time for making the selection? Thanks a lot.

You don't need boot.ini to change that value (Its a hidden file. Either go choose "show hidden files", or simply just start->run->"c:\boot.ini".

You can change the value by right clicking on my romputer, choosing properties. go to the advanced tab. Click on startup and recovery. Its the top item in that dialog.

You could also go to the System panel in 2K (right-click My Computer>Properties or through Control Panel), then the Advanced tab and "Startup and Recovery..." to change the length of time to show the boot menu.
