While I'm here, I wanted to let the GA and NC crew know where/when I'm racing the next few months if they wanted to drop by.

I'll be in Duluth and Grant Park (this is my team's race) on Sat and Sunday respectively the last weekend of this month.

September, I'm in Gainesville on the 3-4th, Winston-Salem/Elon/Greensboro on the 9-11th, LaGrange on 17-18th, and then Buckhead (Atlanta) on the first weekend of October.

As you may have guessed, I've been racing a ton this year (I'll have close to 40 races under my belt by October) and things are going pretty well. Best results so far are a win in the Union City time trial (5th overall for the weekend) and 7th place last weekend in the GA State Criterium championships. Currently ranked top-10 in the state for my age in all three disciplines (road race, tt, crit). :)

Congrats! And good luck on your upcoming races.

I am starting to ride again myself. I don't see any road racing in my future though. Even when I was riding regularly I never had any desire to race even though I like to watch it.

Dunno. The problem with that is that I'm at a disadvantage coming from sea level. I would like to do the Bannock Street crit in Denver some time tho.

you've got to love the beach.

the little girl loves the sand and the water too. she's still really skinny though and short. she also started a very strong shyness phase. if we start talking to anyone she doesn't know very well she instantly clings to our legs. she's talking up a storm though.

it's amazing how fast they grow up.

Mine is anything but shy. It takes her two minutes to decide someone is okay, and then she's in their lap.

This will cease to be cute once she's a teenager, I'd imagine. :p

yeah, we were figuring at least we won't have to worry about the girl talking to strangers anytime soon.
