Where is DMA enable/disable on WinXP Home Ed?

Anybody know where you enable/disable this feature, on a CDROM, for example? Or can you even do it in XP ???

Go to Control Panel, and go to Printers and Other Hardware, and then go to System and open the properties for the drive that you want to enable/disable DMA on. There should be an option there. I'm working from XP Pro, so I don't know if Home has the option. Hope this helps.

My control panel does not have such an applet. When I check the properties of the drives under "system", the DMA box that was present in earlier versions of Windows is not there. I thought maybe it was somewhere else. It is not under Drive management either.
