Where is BlueTooth?

H-P uses it on a printer - some laptops have it now, but mainly it is used more in Europe than in the USA. It has a lot of competition in the wireless arena, and it ain't the fastest guy on the block. 🙂 Here is another recent development:

I have a Sony Ericsson T68i and a bluetooth Jabra headset. Works great for wireless connectivity. It also has a cool 'tech' factor. People ask my what it is and I fool them into thinking that the earpiece is the entire phone. I can have the phone in my pocket or bookbag and use voice commands to make calls. People get really impressed! The voice commands work great, and it's really convenient when you need to keep your hands occupied, or just keep them in your pockets to stay away from the cold - I say that bluetooth is well on its way to dominating short transmission wireless communications.

Most newer PDA's have it integrated to enable wireless internet communication via cellphone (which also has bluetooth). Higher-end notebooks have it (or you can just buy a bt pci card). there's also bt cf cards and bt memory sticks, but expect to be paying one heck of a premium for it.
