Where is 3D Mark 2003 ???

With directx9 cards on the horizon its time for a new benchmark that actually tests these cards directx9 capabilities....

Are there plans for a new 3D Mark? Will it be released once Microsoft releases Directx9? Any news whatsoever?

It'll be released about 2 months after MS releases DX9.
Pretty much the same schedule 3DMark99/2000/2001 was on.

As for testing the cards capabilities, I'd prefer a real world test over 3DMark any day.
