Where in the w2k registry can I edit Control Panel stuff?

I eradicated a program that still has some indicators in ControlPanel. So everytime I start ControlPanel I get a message saying, "can't find it...".

Is there a general key for all items in ControlPanel, or each individual item key has a pointer to control panel? Or both?

Thanks,
WW

Check if you got rid of the .CPL program stub left over in WinNT\System32 directory. If you find it there, delete it....but make sure you get rid of the right one.

No, I don't have a .cpl file for the program.

But I think that the problem is different because the error says "ViaVoice : failed to load local language module". When I don't have a ViaVoice icon anymore inside ControlPanel.

That's why I think that somewhere in the registry there is a call for that program still(I've already combed the registry deleting what I thought it was safe).
