Ugh, now someone with too much time and a need to feel "right" will undoubtedly pick apart every one of those. It's not hard to do. Do a similar google search. There are a ton of gay christians out there.

Being Christian means believing in Jesus Christ. No man is perfect and all men are sinners; to say there are gay Christians is irrelevant.

So you're endorsing the pig condom? 😕

Of course people should vie to live "good" lives. However, God sent Jesus Christ so that instead of blood being spilled for sin we could ask for forgiveness. JC was the "ultimate sacrifice" and our sins were forgiven by spilling of His blood.

So if you choose to have gay sex with a pig skin condom on the sabbath, and the next day you ask for forgiveness, and you repeat, are you *really* sincerely asking for forgiveness?

I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm asking for a glowing sheath of pig skin to descend from the sky into my hands.

PS- I think the fact of whether a god exists or not is completely unrelated to the man-created notion of a "god" that executes *their* will.

That explains the behavior of the individual, perhaps, but not the religious establishment who endorses or condemns their behavior.

The only difference is that majority rules. You can pretty much take the god aspect out of it really. What it boils down to is one person claiming something vs. a bunch of people claiming something else.

The Bible never said anything wrong about having kids with your siblings...it was a must back in those days.

😕
Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of this mother- Deuteronomy 27:22

Ahh nuts.

So the Bible contradicts itself? 😕

The Bible has contradictions?! I don't believe it.

Try reading a Bible? It's not a bad read. A little slow in the middle, but once they lay into Jesus, it really picks up. Plus you'll gain some understanding of why Christians do the things they do, and say the things they say.

I prefer more contemporary fiction writers personally.

I actually thought the New Testament was mind numbingly boring. In the Old Testament, the Christian god (God) was wrathful and terrifying, just like all the other gods of that time period. It was like reading Greek fables but set in the Near East.

To answer the OP's question, the verse is in Leviticus 18:22.
http://www.htmlbible.com/kjv30/B03C018.htm

"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

I think in the New Testament God was growing old and weak. It was written shortly before his death.

We have killed him - you and I.

Pic.

wow.. thats pretty bad

I'm working out the logistics for that pig condom thing now. 😛

Haha. I was actually just quoting Nietzsche.

I promise you that gay Christians don't apologize to God for being gay, or performing gay sex acts. They think that's what God wants them to do.

Religion is just a type of politics. Maybe you believe taxes should be lower. Maybe you believe that some guy who got owned by the Romans is your god. Either way, you need to take your crazy ass screaming arguments in the the Play Pen.

Have you seen the movie versions of that book? They're terrible! Noah's Ark, the Ten Commandments, Passion of the Christ, all HORRIBLE. I can't imagine what the Bible's sequel will be like.

Tragically, Jesus is captured, and tortured for days before being strapped to a comet and blasted into the sun. (Sound track by Uncle Kracker)
