This is great information in here.
Everytime I call DELL I get some FOREIGN operator that I can't understand jack. I thought DELL gave those jobs back to their Round Rock Texas office? Anyway, I'm filing a complaint against them. They need to bring back jobs over here for us Americans and stop hiring foreigners.

I saw the news station on TV had a segment on this topic about company outsourcing technical support jobs to India. The salary of technical supports over there in India is $1800/year!!! And $1800/year is considered to be very good for people who just graduate from college in India. All of them have Bachelor degree, some even have Master degree! And they said that companies can hire 15 India technical supports with the salary of one USA technical support!

Man, technical supports over here in USA surely learn more than $1800/month. And I don't think that all of them have Bachelor degree, certainly not Master degree!

Man, no wonder it is so difficult to find a high tech job nowadays. Sooner or later, they will outsource engineering jobs too!!! I think that it is already happening anyway...

what happened with asus?

I agree so, I can't even understand what they are saying, and the line quality for me isn't that great, I have to go "hello , you still there" couple times in the conversation, bc it felt like the line had went off...

If you read the fine print it will always say not valid with any other discount etc etc etc. QUIT YOUR G0DDam|\|ed crying and chalk it up to you win a few you lose a few.

This isn't a hot deal but it's good information. All the hotdealers should at least know about it.

I've had excellent success filing online complaints at the Attorney General of the state where the rebate processing house does business. Sometimes I double up and also complain to the Attorney General in the state where the product is manufactured.

Sometimes I complain to the BBB, but this hasn't been as effective. There is nothing like an official letter from the Attorney General to get the attention of sleazy businesses.

Hope this information isn't abused. 9/10ths of the time, it's not a rude CSR on the phone, it's the customer wanting something unreasonable or against policy to be done and getting angry that things aren't going their way. I one got a complaint about me being rude on a tech support call because I asked the person to stop cursing while speaking to me

I would have to agree with you on that.

if possible, instead of making this a sticky, it'd be nice if the mods can insert it into the thread that's already stickied.
