EDIT: if you are going to make fun of his setup...post yours...let us take a look at your bad @ss setup

Is that stand fairly stable/sturdy? I really like the looks of it.
I saw one in OM or OD, but I'm not sure how solid it would be.
I like mine as well, just don't think about putting a CRT monitor on it though. only an LCD would work within the capacity.

Well, I've got an older picture of my setup, but have since added more systems. So I'll have to get a fresh shapshot when I get home. :)

Right next to my bed. It's an apartment on campus and this is my half of one of the bedrooms. There's really not much of a choice where it goes. So, my bedroom.

My Desk

Edit: Yeesh, that's an outdated picture. I've got a MX500 instead of that MS now and my Gamecube is now sitting on top of my case.

My PC sits on the floor next to the desk in the bedroom.

Server sits on the floor under the work table in teh bedroom.

HTPC is on the component rack in the living room.

Arcade PC is in the arcade cabinet in the living room.

Laptop generally sits around the house waiting to be taken to the office for work.

:)

I picked Den/Family Room, although I have my computer a couple of other computers in my "computer room" (wow original!). It's a room on the 2nd floor of my house that is at the top of the stairs and doesn't have a door or a closet.

In my computer room I have my computer desk, my computer which sits on two small storage units, a 10ft. banquet table that acts as a workbench, a couple of filing cabinets, parts storage bins, and a comfy easychair/loveseat. It's great for LAN parties as I can get about 7 rigs in this room alone if properly arranged. :)

Which computer?

After I move this weekend, the servers will be in a rack in the computer/exercise room, the girls will have one in the den/homework area, I'll have my laptop whereever (family room or bedroom), and the HTPC will, of course, be in the family room :)

I have a one bedroom apt, so I took my dining room and popped a corner desk in there w/ my comp and I use TV trays for my romantic dinners and whatnot ;)

The keyboard and mouse are both wireless, so they're where ever I decide to put them. In the picture, they're laying on the bed, not an ironing board. And I could afford a desk if I wanted, but it's very difficult to accomodate my monitors with any desk I've ever seen. Plus I like to lounge while I use the computer, I can lay back on some giant pillows and position the keyboard and mouse as I please. Much more comfortable to me. Makes it easy to kick back with the old lady a bust a game of worms too. :)

My server and workstation are both in the living room, partly because that's where the phone jack is, and partly because my parents don't think I should have the computers in my room (apparently they're afraid I'd be looking at pornos or something). :disgust:

My computer doesn't sit... or at least not when I tell it to. It also doesn't roll-over or catch frisbees,

Bedroom, I can barely sleep without the sound of the fans... and my monitor is facing my bed so that I can tan while I sleep ;)
