I recently started using outlook express; where does it save all my emails? I'm upgrading my harddrive and I want to back it up. I know outlook saves to a .pst file.

Is there a way to SEARCH for email? I've had different drives and different OSes... I'd like to find all my old emails and bring them back.

I believe Outlook Express uses the .dbx extension for it's mail folders, you can search for those file types.

If you're using WinXP, it will most likely be here:

C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{LONG STRING OF CHARACTERS}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Items in all CAPS is something that would be diff on your comp.
