Cheiftec makes the cases for Antec, and a few others. Most everything in computers is rebranded stuff made by a few factories - same as most industries. Companies like Antec will add a few design touches to distinguish their products, but they are functionally the same.

I was wondering who made this case for Akasa, it appears to be Globalwin.

Ive seen those cases up close, they are alright, but nothing special. I'm suprised savrow would use such a cheap case though. I saw those case being sold at a computer show.

That is seriously a nice case... But how big is it compared to other mid tower cases? (In inches) As in width and how long and tall it is. Also will it be able to hold an Antec ATX type power supply? or will i have to mod it?

P.S. What are the holes on the mobo tray for?

Does anyone see a problem with the drive cage hanging down in front of where the CPU fan would be?

Potentially it is a problem, but that's a removable, optional cage.

I count a total of 12 bays:

4 X 5.25"
2 X 3.5" external
4 X 3.5" internal lower front
2 X 3.5" internal upper rear, optional

Plus there is an optional PCI port up front, for game or COM ports, or what not.

If this thing had an all-aluminum front, I think it would be the absolute perfect case.

Did the calculations on the size 460 x 240 x 560 (mm) translates to 18.11 x 9.45 x 22.04 (inches)

This should be a nice case because it's deeper than the Antec/Compucase LX6A19 case which is only 18 inches deep.
The antec/compucase hard drive cage interfer w/ long video cards.

I hope newegg starts carrying them soon...

Regards,
Jose
