Where does firefox safe your bookmarks?

Trying to find my bookmarks on my harddrive to back them up. Any idea where or what file firefox saves the bookmarks in?

\documents and settings\[user]\application data\mozilla\firefox\profiles\[random string].default\bookmarks.html (may be slightly different depending on how old your profile is).

Since version 1.5 or so of Firefox it makes daily backups of your bookmarks and stores them in "bookmarkbackups" within the directory above.

You could also export them from within the Bookmarks Manager.

Bookmarks -> Organize bookmarks. File -> Export. Save the file to your backup drive.
cheers
