Where do you stand on the political spectrum?

<< L-----C--(me too)---R >>

We need a united right 🙁

stupid Clark and stupid Alliance.....when the hell are they gonna get their act together?

<< Middle of the Road to slightly conservative....
It'll be better some day Ornery 😉

I think the probelm with that religion thread was that it seemed to be more about looking for angry responses rather than a legitimate discussion...

Where does this topic stand on the lameness scale?

Fiscally:
  • L----------------------C-------------------(Me)-R
Socially:
  • L-(Me)----------------------C-------------------R

Edit: Sorry. The topic's not lame. I'm just in a bad mood. My point is that it's a little more complex than being left or right leaning. I vote for GOP favoring candidates, because that party leans my way on the major issues.

"Me

L C R"

Huh? Moonbeam, you almost always confuse me.

So where are you . . . can you lead me 'cuz I'm blind? 😱

Well, I'm nowhere on that scale. I flex with varying views from left to right and outside of the scale. 😉 🙂

You know what they say about the blind leading the blind, luvly.

"Well, I'm nowhere on that scale. I flex with varying views from left to right and outside of the scale."

If you graphed that it could look just like what I put.

Mostly, I'm not on the continuum either. Take an issue like what to do with criminals. The left leans to the notion that they are a product of conditioning and not responsible. The right says they are responsible for their actions and should be punished. Each side is right and wrong. We are the product of our environment and not guilty for what we have become. But if our actions are harmful to others we can't be excused in the sense of left in society to continue to perpetrate crimes against others. Such people must be separated from society, but not for the purpose of punishment. Every effort should be taken to give screw up people a chance to learn about themselves and recover from the disaster of their past. This can be done without naivete. The left underestimates the difficulties and the right doesn't realize the extent to which their own morality depends of fear rather than love.

Where do you stand on the political spectrum?

<----Me--->C<---->Me<--->L<----->Me<---->R<---->Me<--->Me<-----> ^ <---->🙂<-----Me---->

That's my position. Although I prefer to sit.

Cheers ! 🙂

Heh.. when I first started reading this thread, I thought to my self, "I wonder what linuxboy would have to say about this..." And now I know. 🙂

I tend to be all over the map as well, leaning to the right on some things, and to the left on others.

I tend to cover the spectrum, depending on the issue. I think sometimes I'm outside of the visible spectrum. 😉
(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)L(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)C(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)R(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)(Me)

edit: damn you linuxboy, you beat me to it! By several hours no less. This is what I get for clicking "reply", getting distracted, and then finally typing out my reply, assuming that whatever I say will still be original and on topic. bah. time to go to bed. 😛
