Where do you purchase your jeans?

I'm looking for a place to purchase some new jeans at a decent price. There are plenty of different kinds of jeans, and while most places carry the classic "worker" style jeans, I'm looking for the more trendy, slim fit ones that become slightly narrower at the ankle. I'm 6' 5", which prevented me from getting the last pair I came across.

so, where do you purchase your jeans, and does anyone know of a place that might carry the kind I am talking about?

I like the jeans I have from guess and express, they can be a little expensive if you dont get them during a sale though. Sometimes you can find some nice "designer" jeans at marshalls once in a while, but I'm not really sure if they're the same quality as the ones you'd find at saks fifth avenue or whatever fancy shmancy places sell them. Outlet stores are good.

I tend to prefer Diesel jeans, but even they can get a little wild sometimes. There is a Diesel store in Atlanta.

I find that Banana Republic also has jeans that fit your criteria.

My "nicer" jeans come from Lands End
My "work" jeans come from Costco.

More than $40 for jeans and I'm outta there...

For casual wearing, my favorite as of now are the loose fit Calvin Klein jeans, although the quality seems to vary pair to pair. Those about $60, but I feel constricted enough in pants as it is and these were really comfortable for me.

For working, I get boot cut Levi's. These should be about $30.

American Eagle / Levi's. I see no point in spending more than $40 for jeans especially when the stylish brands tend to be "prestressted"

Nordstrom, and Blue's Jean Bar in Dallas.
I like:
7s
Paper cloth and denim
True Religion
Rock & Company
Lucky
Diesel
Mavi

I'm kind of a jeans whore. I've got about 15 pairs of the above, every day jeans. For work jeans, I buy Nautica ones for $60 or so. They last forever.

For cheaper options (<$50), there's Levi's 510, 511, or 514, or Urban Outfitters' BDG brand. There's a good slim $40 jean from brand called Uniqlo, that's readily available here in South Korea and Japan, but in the U.S. I think there is only a store in NY.

I don't wear slim jeans anymore (just a regular bootcut from BR) but those are some options I remember.

American Eagle has low-rise boot cut jeans that fit your description. Can get as tight or loose as you want. I have quite a few pairs from AE, as well as Levi's. I used to wear more slim jeans, and still have a few pairs that I enjoy, but not nearly as 'tight' as I used to wear them. I started to realize that me wearing tight jeans (not emo-tight, definitely can't pull that off and I hate the emo types) was a bad move as having my leg definition in a tighter pair of jeans just looks real weird  my legs are too godly, but I guess you can see the desire to wear jeans that show that off. That's why I like summer. :p

 Couldn't agree more. I go to the men's half yearly sale at Norstrom and clean 'em out when they're 50% off.

Diesel is classic. I also like TR even though some people think its time went by. Try Dept store as Nordy or Bloomindales

I go to bloomingdales, but you have to watch out because the trendy jeans mostly have that ridiculous buttoning fly. I've had good luck with regular designers who happen to also make a few jeans too:

Burberry
Ermenegildo Zegna
Joseph Abboud

They're a little on the dressier side so you could wear them with a nice shirt if you needed to. Macy's is also good though if you're budget isn't enormous.

Cheap jeans

I do not invest heavily into clothing, because I am already married.
Also I love clothes made by children. It has that special loving feel.
