Where do you order your personal checks?

I hafta reorder mine because of the First Union to Wachovia change. I checked out the checks here where 2 boxes range from $19.90 to $25. Is that a good deal or a rip?

FYI, I seldom use checks since I pay most of my bills online so a box will last me years but I do need them on occasion. TIA:)

I pay five to seven dollars per box from my bank. Some banks offer them for free.

Hmm OK, I will check to find out if Wachovia offers them for free or cheaply then. Thanks for the replies.:)

I write maybe 5 checks a year, who needs to re-order checks?

ACH & internet banking = instant and paperless payments worldwide

I just get my shiz from Washington Mutual. They offer a pack for 11 bucks. There is no point in wasting cash on checks...

I'd rather have pretty ones.. I had pretty ones in the past, but the bank gives me free ones now (they didn't always), and.. it was tough, but eventually I decided I liked free more than I liked pretty. so.. I get mine from the bank.

I've been with Wachovia for a while, and IIRC, they are pretty cheap from Wachovia. I write 2 checks a month so I haven't had to order any in a while.

I do.

If you read my first post, you'd see I belong to First Union which is now Wachovia and after a year, they won't honor checks with First Union printed on it. I also wrote that I too seldom use checks. Sheesh.

Eh, my wife just orders them from the bank. I think we're up to number 99,000 now.

We pay all our bills by check because we like the paper trail.
